Trip to Jupiter Art Land
We had a fantastic trip to Jupiter Art land recently with a group of young people from across East Dunbartonshire. Jupiter Art land is a fabulous sculpture park in Edinburgh. The park features work from artists such as Ian Hamilton Finlay, Andy Goldsworthy and Laura Ford. We found the art work and place, truly inspirational. We now plan to look at our own local landscape and how we might engage people in any sculptural work we create through new technologies. We have 7 young people/adults ages 16 – 18 taking part in this project which explores interactive design and how we can apply this to heritage engagement working with Neil from After the new and Lizzie from Collective Architecture.
