TO-06 Leitchbank
Jean Wingate lived at Leitchbank House until her marriage to Sir George Pirie.
Helen Mclean remembers a group of Guides from Cowcaddens who Miss Pirie had arranged to come out to Leitchbank on the bus from Glasgow to enjoy what the local countryside had to offer. They lit a fire, ate toasted marshmallows and played games.
