Baldernock Trail
The trail start is at Baldernock Parish Church. From here head south along Craigmaddie Road for a short distance before taking an unmarked road on the left just before Kettlehill Farm. Follow this road until you emerge at the junction with Fluchter Road, take a left & continue northeast.
After a short distance, Baldernock Primary School can be seen on the right hand side. The route continues northeast along the road and emerges at an unmarked junction. The route turns left and after a short distance turns right on to Tower Road heading east.
At the junction beside Easter Blairskaith Farm on Tower Road, the trail turns left to head north. Passing the farmhouse on the right, the track begins to climb more steeply through woodland. The track emerges onto a path, takes a left to travel the short distance to the junction with Baldernock Lynn.
On joining this road, take a left to begin the descent back towards Baldernock with great views towards the southwest. This road then ends at the junction with Tower Road, take a right following Tower Road until the junction with Craigmaddie Road. At this junction, turn left and returns to Baldernock Parish Church.

Ground Conditions:
Majority of route on paved surfaces. From Easter Blairskaith to Baldernock Lynn the footpath is uneven in places and can be muddy.

Tucked away just off the route are some delightful waterfalls of Branziet Burn in front of the Linn Caves.
