We had a fantastic response to the stakeholders meeting in August, a wide range of national organisations joined EDLC and EDC staff in conversions about the potential of Trails and Tales and wider developments in terms of arts, heritage and engaging in our landscape. The group listened to a series of presentations from the T&T team and then took part in a mapping workshop lead by Collective Architecture, We explored what is happening and where in terms of heritage, trails, canals, paths, cycle
routes, public art and community engagement. We also gauged interest from stakeholders on where there might be potential for overlap in working together, sharing information and building capacity. The information gathered and the contribution from those who attended was incredibility useful for all of us. it was great to have such a wealth of knowledge in one room. We hope to meet with these stakeholders again. We believe that collaboration and learning with a wide range of experienced and knowledgeable people is essential for the development and success of our Trails for East Dunbartonshire. On behalf of the T&T team thank you to our contributors and we hope to see you again in the new year.
