Canal Festival, Objects for our community archive timeline @ The Kirky Studio.

As part of the canal festival celebrations we had a call out for objects and community archives to add to an object time line which will tell the story of East Dunbartonshire. A number of local residents who also have connections which community councils and local heritage groups either attended the Kirky studio to have their objects photographed and stories documented or submitted objects and photos for us to record. From beautiful collections of campsie wear to pottery found in back gardens, we had a great response from enthusiastic individuals, photos can be found here on flikr, These stories will be the beginning of our timeline which will develop over e next 12 months. Watch this space for its launch in the new year.
