Photography

Artist Kate Burton has been worlking with a group of adults developing photography skills whilst exploring local heritage. The group have been walking in Peel Park and wider Kirkintilloch looking for points of historical interest to photograph. This was supported by visits to the Archives and Local History Studies departmentment at William Patrick Library where we looked a Kirkintilloch ‘then’ and tried to mirror these interesting photos by creating Kirkintilloch ‘now’ photographs. The group were also able to see Kirkintilloch historical images on the EDLC website.
