Visit to Lambhill Stables

Today I visited David, Don and Carol at Lambhill Stables a fantastic community resource invested in helping people through develop skills through training in the use of environmental heritage preservation, creation and the art. David showed me the spectacular boundary between the city and country at the foot of the stables impressive garden/allotment which is maintained and developed through the help of volunteers. we discussed partnership working and joint opportunities, in particular how we can engage people in the Mavis valley story and site, working with artists. I also received a tour of the buildings artist studio and heritage room.
