Parent and Child T Shirt Printing workshops

Have you heard of Thomas Muir of Huntershill? Have you ever wanted to print your own t-shirt? Do you want to learn about stencils, collage and simple screen printing? This workshop will use images that relate to the Thomas Muir story- stories, words, pictures – to introduce you to printing on to t-shirts. The process will use collage, and the use of simple and ready made pre-cut paper stencils to layer images over each other to create unusual and spontaneous designs. Every t-shirt will be unique using this format and this experimental way of working can often produce unexpected and exciting results!

Age group 8-12 years old, plus 1 accompanying Parent/guardian
Sessions are free, t shirts provided.

Timing:

workshop 1: 10.30-1pm

Workshop 2: 2-4.30pm
